Your work and details will be included in the craft trail booklet and on the website. It can also be a step on the journey to joining the craft trail in your own right.

Assessments
We warmly welcome you to join the Quality Assurance process. This is how it works…
- 5 items for assessing are required to be delivered to Market House, Lerwick at a prearranged time.
- You will be asked to print off and fill in the questionnaire attached to support your application. Please give it careful thought. The download is available here.
- Your work is assessed by external assessors who are well qualified within the field of arts and crafts and helpful feedback is given.
- Successful applicants are offered the opportunity to have 1 item professionally photographed for free. This is for the first year only.
- You are asked to collect your work at a prearranged time.
- We will contact you about being included in the SACA booklet.
Reassessment for other applicants
Those members receiving full marks for their assessment can wait another 5 years before needing to be reassessed. For other full members, reassessing is every 3 years and the process is as above.
Renewal without assessment
For applicants who do not need assessing, please renew as usual.
Other Information
