Thank you for applying to be an associate member. Associate membership will enable you to apply for a stand at craft fairs run by SACA, although conditions apply. It can also be the first step on the journey to full membership.
As part of the application process we ask you to ask yourself the following questions…
- What makes your work unique?
- Please consider your process and how this can contribute to the individuality of what your work.
- If, for example, you buy in pre-formed items, how do you turn this into original work, and how do you credit the original designer, if appicable?
- What measures do you have in place to make your work of the highest quality?
If you would like to speak to someone about your application beforehand, please contact any member of the committee who can help you. An important part of being a member or associate member is supporting the promotion of arts and crafts in Shetland.
